WHO WE ARE

 

Masters Energy Oil and Gas Ltd was incorporated in Nigeria in 2005 to operate fully in the oil and gas sector.

The company has since then expanded and diversified to assume leading positions not only in the oil and gas sector, but Power, EPC, Petrochemicals, Aviation, Shipping and Marine businesses.

Being a highly innovative company, and desirous to create superior values for stakeholders and partners, Masters Energy has 25 subsidiaries, one of which is M E Metering Company Ltd.

M E METERING COMPANY LIMITED was incorporated in LAGOS, Nigeria with Registration Number 1474311. It was registered on 27 Feb 2018.

It is important to note that metering occupies a strategic position in the power sector, upon which the development of our country revolves. In other words, if our country is to be developed, power must be assured. If power must be assured, revenue must be guaranteed. If revenue must be guaranteed, metering and metering infrastructure must be right, available and installed according to industry standards and best practices. Metering is therefore a key nexus in the development of Nigeria.

We are registered to play in the metering sub-sector of the economy, focusing on energy metering, gas metering and water metering. Energy metering is our first point of call and we have gotten the relevant certifications as follows:

1) NEMSA certificate authorizing us to manufacture meters

2) product certificate of MANCAP for single phase energy meters

3) product certificate of MANCAP for three phase energy meters

4) Standard organization of Nigeria FAST TRACK approval for single phase meters (Under review)

5) Standard organization of Nigeria FAST TRACK approval for three phase meters (Under review)

6) STS Association certificate of conformance for single phase meters

7) STS Association certificate of conformance for three phase meters

8) STS certificate of membership

9) NERC’s certificate as meter manufacturer

10) NERC’s NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE to operate as a meter asset provider
